Pet Cameras & Treat Dispensers

1080p–2K · Pan-tilt · Two-way audio · Local or cloud

We supply indoor pet cameras from 1080p to 2K with pan-tilt, night vision, two-way audio and, on the models that sell best, a treat dispenser. The specification that matters most is not the resolution but where the video is stored, because that decides your privacy statement, your recurring cost and, in Europe, your GDPR exposure. MOQ is 500 pieces.

A pet camera is a connected camera with a marketing story. The hardware is mature: a 2–4 MP sensor, a pan-tilt mechanism, IR LEDs, a speaker and a Wi-Fi module. What separates a good unit from a return is the cloud architecture and the app.

Storage choices drive everything. SD-card-only models keep the buyer out of a subscription and keep you out of data-processing obligations. Cloud models create recurring revenue and make you, or your platform partner, a processor of household video. If you sell into the EU, that second path needs a data processing agreement and a privacy notice that says where the footage sits.

Certification and testing

  • §CE RED / EMC and FCC ID for the Wi-Fi module.
  • §RoHS and REACH for the housing and PCB assembly.
  • §GDPR support pack: data flow description, retention settings, DPA template, sub-processor list.
  • §UL or ETL for the power adapter sold in North America.
  • §No default password and forced first-login change, which some EU market surveillance now checks.

Reports are issued per model and per material. A certificate for a similar product does not cover a different mould, module or fabric.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MOQ for a private-label pet camera? +

500 pieces on a stock model with your packaging, 1,000 with your own app branding, and 2,000 for a new housing design because of tooling.

SD card or cloud storage? +

SD-only removes the subscription and most of your data-protection work, and it sells well in price-sensitive markets. Cloud storage creates recurring revenue but makes you or your platform a processor of household video, which needs a DPA and a clear privacy notice in the EU.

Can the camera record without the internet? +

SD-card models record continuously or on motion without a connection; the app is only needed to view and configure. Cloud models need the connection to upload, though most keep recording locally while offline.

Is the video encrypted? +

Ask for AES-128 or AES-256 on transport and at rest, and for the port list. A camera that opens an inbound port on the router is a security liability; the acceptable design is outbound-only to a cloud endpoint or local-only recording.

How long does the treat hopper last? +

A 100–200 g hopper holds roughly 60–120 small treats. The auger is the wear part, and on the better units it is a replaceable module rather than a glued assembly. Ask for the hopper as a spare part before you commit.
