Grooming Tools & Hygiene Products

Deshedding · Clippers · Dryers · Shampoo · Pads

Grooming splits into three supply chains that behave differently: metal-and-plastic tools, electrical appliances, and formulated liquids. We cover all three — deshedding brushes and clippers, dryers and vacuum grooming kits, shampoo and wipes, plus the consumables that drive repeat purchase, pee pads and waste bags. MOQ ranges from 300 for tools to 1,000 for formulated products.

Electrical grooming products need the same certification discipline as any appliance: CE and RoHS, plus UL or ETL for North America, and a noise measurement if quiet is part of the pitch. Dryers are the item where noise and heat control decide the review score.

Shampoo and wipes are cosmetic or biocide products depending on the claim, and that changes the paperwork entirely. A grooming shampoo sold in the EU needs a cosmetic product safety report and CPNP notification. A product that claims to kill fleas is a biocide and needs authorisation. We will not ship the second without the registration in place, because the liability lands on the brand, not the factory.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MOQ for branded grooming products? +

300 pieces for brushes and hand tools, 500 for clippers and dryers, and 1,000 for shampoo on a stock formula. A custom shampoo formula starts at 2,000 because of stability testing.

Can you supply shampoo under my brand in the EU? +

Yes, on the condition that a Cosmetic Product Safety Report exists and the product is notified through CPNP. The factory can supply a report for its stock formula; if you change the fragrance or the surfactant system, a new report is required.

Why will you not ship a flea product? +

Because a product that claims to kill or repel an organism is a biocide in the EU, not a cosmetic, and needs an authorisation before it can be placed on the market. The liability sits with the brand, so we decline orders without the registration.

How quiet should a dryer be? +

Under 75 dB at one metre for a handheld unit is acceptable; under 65 dB is what buyers describe as quiet. Ask for the measurement, and check that the heat control has a real thermostat rather than a two-position switch.

Are compostable waste bags actually compostable? +

Only if they carry EN 13432 or ASTM D6400 certification and the claim matches the disposal route available to the customer. Many "biodegradable" bags are oxo-degradable, which is banned in several EU markets. Ask for the certificate, not the word.
