Frequently Asked Questions
MOQ · Samples · Certification · Payment · Shipping
The questions below are the ones that come up in almost every first conversation. If yours is not here, send it — we answer every enquiry, including the ones we cannot quote. The short version: 300 pieces is the usual minimum, samples take 5 to 10 days, production 20 to 45 days, and certification is quoted per model rather than assumed.
How an order starts
Send a photo, a link, a sample photo or a written specification with the quantities you have in mind and the market you sell into. That is enough for a quotation. A costed reply at three volume bands comes back within 24 hours, with the MOQ, the lead time and an honest statement of which certificates exist for that model.
If the product needs a sample, we send one before any order. If it needs a tool, we quote the tool separately and say who owns it.

What we do not do

- ›We do not ship a category that needs an import permit in your market until that permit exists.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity? +
300 pieces per SKU on most stock configurations, 500 on electronics and toys, and 100 on flat-packed furniture. A custom colour or printed carton raises it to 500–1,000, and a new mould to 1,000–3,000.
How much does a sample cost? +
Stock samples are free and you pay the courier. A customised sample with your logo, colour or packaging costs US$30–120 depending on the category, and the amount is credited against the first production order.
What are the payment terms? +
30 percent deposit and 70 percent against the bill of lading, or 100 percent against the pre-shipment inspection report. On a first order we recommend the second: it costs nothing and puts the inspection before the money.
How long does production take? +
20 to 45 days from approval, depending on category and customisation. Electronics with app branding take longer, and a new mould adds 45 to 60 days. Sea freight adds two to five weeks.
Can I mix categories in one order? +
Yes, and it is usually the largest single saving available: different factories consolidate into one container with one packing list and one set of documents, which removes three port charges and three chances of a delay.
Who pays for certification? +
The factory pays for certificates on its own stock models. A new SKU, a changed component or a report re-issued in your brand name is paid by the buyer, typically US$400–1,500 depending on the standard.
Do you supply certificates for every product? +
For every model we ship, we state which reports exist and which do not. Where a report is missing, the quotation says so and prices the test separately rather than implying coverage that is not there.
Is private label possible on every category? +
Almost everything packed in a box can carry your brand. Depth is the variable: a label on a carton is straightforward, a colour change needs volume, and a change to the product itself needs tooling.
Do I own the tooling I pay for? +
Yes. The contract identifies the mould by number, states that you own it once paid, and sets a zero buy-out afterwards. If the relationship ends, it ships to you or your new factory at your cost.
How is quality checked before shipping? +
AQL 2.5 inspection with functional tests for the category: 50 cycles on a feeder, a pull test on a harness, a small-parts check on a toy. You receive a photo report before the container is sealed, and a third-party inspection can be appointed.
Can you ship to Amazon FBA? +
Yes, with the carton labels, FNSKU labels and packing list the warehouse expects. We do not manage the FBA account or the inbound shipment plan, but the physical labelling and documentation can be handled here.
What happens if goods arrive damaged or defective? +
Report it with photographs, the carton label and the inspection report. With those three things a claim is settled in days: replacement in the next shipment, or a credit. Without them it becomes a negotiation.
Do you supply pet food or treats? +
No. Food and treats are a different regulatory regime — feed registration, shelf-life testing, labelling rules per market — and a different supply chain. We do not take those orders.
Can I visit the factory? +
Yes, and we encourage it on a first order. We arrange the schedule, translate, and take you to the inspection of your own goods. Give us a week notice.
Do you work with small retailers or only distributors? +
Both, but the economics differ: a small retailer usually starts with 300 pieces across two or three SKUs in one LCL shipment, while a distributor starts with a container. Neither is turned away.
Can I get a price without telling you my target market? +
Yes, but the price is less useful. The destination decides the certification, the plug type, the labelling language and sometimes the material, and those change the cost.
